Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor Calls Out Devin Haney: "I'll Give You The Fight Of Your Life!"

Josh Taylor knows what it feels like to walk around as a division's top dog. In 2021, after years of putting in the work, Taylor grabbed the last two titles at 140-pounds by taking it to Jose Ramirez. With his undisputed reign in full force, Taylor began looking at the scales reluctantly. No longer was he interested in making the super lightweight limit, but he was also unsure if he should officially move up in weight.

Not really interested in this one! Would rather Haney fight the guy that beat Josh Taylor, but it looks like he has other plans...

Teofimo Lopez vs Jamaine Ortiz in the works for February 8
The card will also have a rescheduled co-feature between Keyshawn Davis vs Jose Pedraza.

There's bigger and better fights for Haney at both 140 + 147.

Can't blame Taylor for trying for that money grab though.

Outboxed by Catterall, outclassed by Teofimo, Taylor would give Haney the fight of his life?

Rather, I can see three 120-107 cards on this one.

Unfortunately Josh's actions after fighting Catterall and losing to Lopez have left him with a bad look and undeserving of a title fight.

I used to like Josh but now he tries to overprice himself while having no actual value. First rebuild yourself besting some live body and than you can give ppl fight of their life...

If he’s serious than perhaps Haney should fight him or Subriel Matias next then because obviously Shakur Stevenson,Teofimo, Ryan Garcia or Tank Davis don’t want that smoke from Devin Haney because if they did they wouldn’t be constantly pricing themselves out now wouldn’t they?

That's crazy, and turning down a chance to fight Ryan Garcia during Super Bowl Weekend, extra crazy!!!
