    Is Wilder really that shot?

I don`t know. I have always believed Parker was better than Washinton, Stiverne, Ortiz, Helenius and others Wilder beat.

If you want to beat Wilder, you must close him the distance and never give him a chance to throw a big right hand. Wilder likes a sniper game, he is safe fighting on distance, waiting on 1 big shot. he has made his career doing this.

Only Fury in the second and the third fight and Parker closed him the distance and the result was what we just saw.

Give Wilder somebody that won`t be able to close him the distance or will be too scared off and Wilder will raise again.

    Yeah I not sure.

Like you say, Parker is the second best heavyweight Wilder has fought, added to that he got advice and sparring from Fury who had 30 rounds or something of experience fighting Wilder which has to help.

Wilder got outboxed by a lot of guys worse than Parker like Washington, szpilka etc but those guys had glass chins, Wilder did land a couple of shots on Parker that would have probably ko'd or at least rocked those guys and set them up for a follow up ko.

I just think Parker had his number, I'm not convinced Wilder is shot.

I agree that Wilder was just never as good as Parker - but Parker didn't close the distance, he barely did anything either.

What Joseph did was take the centre of the ring,, Wilder with his lack of ring generalship just fought on the backfoot and didn't really know how to force Parker backwards without over committing and getting countered.

Very simple tactic. They both just waited on each other, but Jospeh controlled the ring and threw a few more.

Ortiz did a similar thing, won every round, but he was too old and tired to last 12 rounds.

There's levels to the game and as soon as Wilder is fighting someone who doesn't retreat, he's useless.

Is Deontay shot or exposed? Bit of both I think.
