As a Brit, probably biased, but Leigh Wood is the fighter who impressed me the most this year. Avenged what was a pretty resounding defeat against Mauricio Lara, becoming a two-time World champion, then brutally dealt with his biggest domestic rival Josh Warrington.
Internationally, I'd say Naoya Inoue. He looks unbeatable and has just become a two-weight Undisputed champion. Can't argue with that. Going into 2024, I don't see any reason why Inoue won't carry on, and could become a 3-4-5 weight champion at this rate. It's just a shame there are no big names around those divisions.
