In no shape, form, or fashion, did Bohachuk prepare Vergil for a fight with Crawford! Bud is an entirely different animal! The only fighter that could prepare Vergil for Crawford, is Boots Ennis!

yes turki seems invested with 154 now with bud onboard, i know boots would like to take care of business at 147 but maybe he needs to jump in the deep end idk if he took a belt at 154 he would surely get a bud fight or maybe bud will retire in the next fight or 2 anyway, its a tricky situation for him

I like Virgil, but he DID NOT win that fight. I don't understand how these judges can continue to get away with this. Judges should be held accountable for things like this just like the Boxers, Coaches / Trainers. The boxing commissions should also be held accountable as well. This really damages the sport. It was a great action packed fight, but the wrong guy had his hand raised. I mean really what more can you do after knocking the guy down twice and he clearly won more rounds than just the 2 where he knocked Ortiz down. He wouldn't be Crawford. I realize Crawford had a tough fight again a much tougher 154 champ, but he wouldn't beat Crawford. Again, this is no disrespect to Ortiz.

Ive heard Eddie Hearn say he wants Boots to unify @ 147, before moving up to 154, and I can’t understand why? There’s no one at 147, that would make even hardcore fans say, “Oh Wow, Boots beat him!” All the action is at 154! Hope Turki changes his mind!!!

One would hope. That's the idea, to learn and grow from fight to fight.

Should prepare him for a rematch but I doubt that happens.
