I think Cotto's victory over Margarito is good in the sense that it somewhat erases the stigma of Margarito being superior over him. But I saw this one dumb ass thread about Mayweather ducking Cotto as of now. I doubt Cotto could even beat Juan Manuel Marquez.

Cotto fought a good fight and you were right cotto wouldn't beat juan manuel marquez.

wht a ****** comment this is, according to this logic then should pacquiao have thanked marg for destroying the tissue in cotto's face? u dont know boxing, its very hard to recover from plasters of paris and in fact when tht happens ur face tends to swell up quicker, when cotto fought mayorga he wasnt really never hit cleanly and often yet he did get touched up once in a while and his face was marked up. this is fair game, marg used it against cotto and its ok? but now when cotto takes advantage of margs past injury everyone is crying, cotto fought the right fight this time around and wouldve won anyway

Margarito is awesome !! He was beginning to break down cotto, cotto was holding for dear life, margo was smiling and playing with cotto´s weak mind, cotto was lucky margo´s eye wasn´t properly healed yet. Margo had three more rounds to ko cotto just like in the first fight. Imagine margarito with his eye ok. For mexicans and men of honor, margo is the man because he preffered to lose an eye vs paquiao than quit unlike cotto who got knocked down and tkoed while running like a girl.

When you can humble down, and shut an opponent up and have him saying you are a good fighter and he respects you, that's when you know you won.

So as long as someone keeps running their mouth after the fight they didn't lose? I guess David Haye dominated in his fight with Klitschko this year because he still doesn't say he's a good fighter or respect him in the least. I guess to you running your mouth is the most important thing in boxing.
