Chavez Jr. is done! The landscape at 168 is too much for him, considering the talent that they have. He would be well suited to leap to 175, because the competition at 168 would run over him. He would receive some great paydays, but his wins will be few if any. He may be able to beat Arthur Abraham and that's only because he can be outworked from time to time. Other than that, he has a rough time with anyone else. Especially someone who knows how to use their feet.

How are you supposed to be a 160lbr, yet need a CW of 173??? For us boxing fans that's just disgusting to know a professional doesn't take his craft seriously! It's obvious 160 isn't for him but because he doesn't really want any part of Ward he'll kill himself trying to get to 160 or fight his next few fights at a CW! I was never a fan of Jr but would watch his fights, now I've lost almost all respect for him for not just being a lb or 2 off but fuggin 2 divisions off...LOL!!! Scoot away from the table!!!

canelo vs chavez jr is a fight i have wanted to see for a long time i think it would be a very good fight actually im not sure there is a weight that would work tho even tho i think canelo should fight at 160 i dont even know if there is a catch weight that would work

loses every fight he mentioned except for possibly the canelo fight cuz canelo isn't active enough and he cant hurt jr. Martinez boxes circles around him froch stands toe to toe and whoops him ward dances muscles and whoops him also. jr doesn't have enough discipline to beat any top fighters at 68

lets be realistic tho if you have seen chavez jr weigh in at 160 you know how much he drains himself to do this eventually your body quits responding. It was obvious in the martinez fight he was drained beyond belief i think keeping him at 160 so long was idiotic lazy or not the kid killed his body trying to make the 160 limit and im sure being off so long he gained alot of weight before we start judging lets see where he decides to fight after the vera fight
