I'm a big Ward fan but this seems REAL GREEDY to me. I get that Rodriguez messed up and came overweight but I'm sure when taking the fight he was confident in making 170lbs. He's a young and probably just out grew the weight class, it's not like he came in 10lbs or some ridiculous number over. Personally I think 20% is a fair penalty, If I was Rodriguez and Ward was trying to take 45% I'd tell him to go F himself and not step in the ring. Andre is a super talented guy but has many issues making fights, sadly for him there aren't many names in his division that make for a compelling fight. If Ward continues on the shelf he will become irrelevant, he's already a guy that few people enjoy to watch so he better quit his *****ing and lace up his gloves.

The heavyweight division died after Lewis and Tyson retired, everyone knows that the Klits would be place-mats for the elite heavyweights in history of boxing. Neither of them and most definitely Mikkel Kessler do NOT belong beside the original Sugar Ray's and The G.O.A.T.

To be honest, this fight could fall through 10 minutes before the bell is due to ring and I wouldn't even care. Andre Ward is pretty much a non-event in boxing.

Why are people mad at ward for trying to enforce the rules? When broner came in over weigh he gave up like 400k $

What's wrong with Ward tryin to get the most money he can. If. Rodriguez made weight this wouldn't be an issue. Not Wards fault! He using a rule to try and get the most he can out of it.
Instead of hatin on Ward why aren't people givin Rodriguez **** for not makin weight.
If It was Floyd doin this it would be considered "a good business decision", but since it's Ward he's gettin hated on. Makes no damn sense!
