Maybe we can actually see Kell Brook against a good fighter for once then.

I wanted Kell Brook vs Amir Khan. But that'll never happen.

Too many other good fights against Golden Boy fighters to be made to accept this one.
Garcia is a guy that hasn't ducked challenges in his career so far so I would hope that would continue with him moving up.
Out of the possible fights for Garcia to take, if in fact he's not fighting Mayweather in May (which is all I want, but doesn't seem to be happening), here's how I rank them.

        1. Garcia vs Broner/Maidana
        2. Garcia vs Porter
        3. Garcia vs Guerrero
        4. Garcia vs Thurman/Soto Karass
        5. Garcia vs Paulie
        5. Garcia vs Ortiz
        6. Garcia vs Khan II

I wouldn't really mind any of these, but I'd love one of the first three.

Paulies tough to look good against but this is a great intro fight for Dannys welterweight premier.

and why is that? Because he's overhyped? Paulie has way more proven substance than Matthysee

Yeah make this happen, I think Paulie will look good for the first few rounds but will eventually get caught and KO. Paulie will retire after that fight.

So.....you were opposed to Mayweather-De La Hoya in 2007??? The universal fight everyone in the world wanted at that time. Or you were opposed to Mayweather-Castillo, when all Floyd had done at LW was a little comeback tune up against Emmanuel Agustus prior to his mega 130 fight with Corrales???
I thought I already answered your question when you asked me about Paulie-Broner?

But at least people wanted Mayweather-Oscar. Who the hell wanted Paulie-Broner?

amazing what a win over Zab does for a fighter's confidence

he had one foot in retirement..beats Zab and soon he'll be calling out Floyd too

It might not make for the most compelling fight for some, but it's the smart move for Garcia @147, and likely for Paulie as well. Not sure how many more rounds remain in his right hand.

he lacks power but he got big balls...why is that negative to you? it's not like he just cowers in defense with his hands up all the time. he stands his ground and take his beating like a man.
