The planned title defense by WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (23-1, 20 KOs) is being targeted for an HBO televised date of May 24th in Montreal, Canada. Stevenson is going to defend his title against top contender Andrzej Fonfara (25-2, 15 KOs) of Poland. Stevenson had a breakout year in 2013, having stoppage victories over Chad Dawson, Darnell Boone, Tavoris Cloud and Tony Bellew.

Meh..he fought Dawson in June, Cloud in Sept and Bellew in Nov last year - if he hadn't of blasted Chad out so fast he might not have had such a quick turn around, but I don't see why he couldn't make 3 fights this year. I'd expect Kovalev to be right at the end of the year or early 2015 tho.

Adonis is 37 in September, he can't really afford to hang around.
