Only curiosity I can spot here is when you compare number of punches landed for and against - the two guys with the highest ratios at connect percentage (FMJ and GGG) are nearly the same two guys with the worst connect ratios in terms of actual punches landed.

Floyd is worst, landing 2.41 for every 1 his opponent lands, Golovkin 3rd worst landing at 2.61 for punch he takes. FWIW Rigo is a good stride in front of everyone else, getting hit just once for every 4.09 punches he lands.

Obviously level of competition needs to be allowed for, but it's no surprise that a number of the recognised names in the sport feature in the lists (which only account for championship level fighters anyway).

Thanks MDP btw, I know the stats part is only a very small part of the sport, but I consider it a useful reference anyway - like Boxrec, the limitations of Compubox need to be understood, but it's still a useful tool when analysing fights and fighters.

Yeah, obviously opponent level needs to be considered, any kinda stat analysis has its limitations and shouldn't be considered any more than a useful tool.

FWIW the number in brackets on the original list (after the fighters name) presumably indicates the number of fights over which the stats have been taken - larger numbers would tend to indicate a larger sample size (thus more representative stats) - nonetheless in boxing the 'intangibles' are such a large part of the sport that these numbers can never be more than guidelines.
