        IDK what HBO thinks this fight is worth but apparently in budgeting for Kovalev -Agnew, Sergei had to give up part of his split - the guy's gonna end up primetime but getting paid nothing at this rate.

          Dammit, this is why I was so against HBO giving him one more bum fight before the Kovalev fight.

          Now if Adonis starts to make ridiculous demands, the fight could pretty much be killed.

            This is a big fight. One of the fights that actually does deserves a big license fee. They can get rid of Andre Ward to help pay for this.

              With Haymon on his team, and with the option of a lucrative fight against Hopkins in Canada, Adonis has some leverage in negotiations.

              Good move by him.

                Stevenson better not duck this fight.but both deserve to get paid over a mill adonis more since he is the draw in canada where the fight should be held

                    Stevenson already had leverage, Kovalevs gonna be fighting for $10s and a sandwich at this rate.

                    Kinda good play by Stevenson cos he knows he can probably get it made with Hopkins/ Shumenov now and leave Kovalev out in the cold, but if Kovalev -
                    Stevenson doesn't get made it just sucks.

                      since HBO pays at most 3 mill for a big event i think Adonis should get 2 mill and
                      Kovalav the rest since Adonis is the more popular guy.
