He couldn't even make the weight class above, for his 1st Vera fight.

GGG can take a shot and his defence will be ok against a big predictable guy.

      Chavez is getting TKO'd.
This can be labelled as a logical assessment... But chance, randomness and accidents always play a role in future events...

I have been hoping to hear something about this fight since Saturday night when they were supposed to announce it. But this is a good sign, can't wait for this slugfest, as neither guy will be hard to find. Could be maybe the best FOY! I give the edge to GGG with his technical skills, but you can't count out Jr with that granite chin & excellent body work.

Golovkin has just as much to prove if not more than Chavez Jr. as he is currently the hype of the future.

This will be a good one to make money on i think. I'm sure of a Golovkin victory.

It's funny: both Jr. and GGG didn't want to take Ward first...

                can you blame them?

getting your doors boxed off on national TV would be humiliating. boxing is all these guys do. they could put in all of their efforts and still lose.

it happened to carl froch. he went from a confident limey to a dude talking retirement.

Only thing Dunn is other fighters being drawn into his inactivity vortex. We'll see ward in 2015

I never buy into these claims that a fight is 99% done. It is 0% done until both fighters sign the dotted line.

This fight was also "99% done" 3 weeks ago, but negotiations stalled.
