I think Matthysse stops Algieri in less than 10

I think he does...its a style thing. Matthysse had to worry about Danny's power but against Algieri he won't have to worry. That and the fact that Algieri's chin isn't exactly the best will cause him to be defeated.

I also think Danny stops Algieri. Herrera is a different animal because he can box and has good punch resistance.

lucas and ruslan are about the same caliber of fighter.. they are very one dimensional and dont make adjustments, if you can stay away from the power, you have a great shot at beating them... guys like margs and castillo were much better because they had better shot selection and attack from different angles, whereas ruslan, lucas basically come straight forward in a direct line,, hardly any angles or diverse shot selection

There's a huge difference between Ruslan and Matthysse. For starters Ruslan can't even throw a punch if his feet aren't set 100%. Also Matt can box which he showed against alexander and judah; when he chooses to use his jab it sets his offense perfectly like it did against Molina.

If Matt had used his jab more against Danny he would have won. I also should mention that algieri's punch resistance is poor. Most of the punches Ruslan landed were blocked by the gloves and still he ended with a closed eye and a bleeding mouth. Algieri doesn't make it against Matthysse.

I'm not sure if he stops Algieri but I think he would win. Matthysse has better stamina and a better jab than Ruslan. Those would be key factors if they fought.

matthysse went life and death against molina? watch the fight again. he demolished him systematically. i said this before, lucas boxing is underrated, he isn't just a brawler, and unlike ruslan, he doesn't stop everything with his face, he can roll punches

Matthysse has good timing and can pull-counter his jab. He's done well against boxers like Alexander and Zab even though he came up short on points.

Different styles. Algieri although a boxer has poor defense, poor chin, and poor punch resistance. The reason Ruslan couldn't stop him is because he needs his feet to be glued against the floor to throw his punches.

Lucas is probably alittle more well rounded than ruslan, but he still is a one dimensional bomber... doesnt anyone remember when danny beat the hell out of lucas and dropped him, and molina dropped him...

Lucas is the best one dimensional fighter in the game though, he is better than ruslan
