Comments Thread For: Marquez Confident Estrada Will Unseat Omar Figueroa

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez is confident that his boxer, Daniel Estrada (32-2-1, 24KOs), will captured the WBC lightweight title by defeating the reigning champion, Omar Figueroa (23-0-1, 17KOs), this coming Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Marquez has advised and helped train Estrada for his big moment. He plan to be by his side on Saturday. A victory would make Estrada the first world champion for Marquez, who is branching out as an adviser to up and coming fighters.

Omar is nothing special now that his hands are shot to pieces. IMO Belmontes beat Omar in their last fight, Estrada working with JMM probably have a very good plan.

Won't be surprised if Omar loses, again.
