MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Marcos Maidana's trainer Robert Garcia confirmed to jeetwin188.com that 8 ounce gloves will indeed be used on Saturday night when Maidana faces Floyd Mayweather in a rematch of their May bout.

There was some confusion because the contract that the Nevada State Athletic Commission issued stated that 10 ounce gloves would be used. Garcia said that was simply a typo in the contract and would be corrected.
