Khan did it to Collazo and Devon did it with Maidana. That evens things out. It would be funny and sad if instead of a slug fest, we see a hug fest!

Odds wise, hug fest has a better probability than slug fest. In 1 week, we will know. Hoping for a good one.

at rules meetings thew other fighters need to draw attention to this and seek assurance from the officials that the rules of boxing are going to be applied.

if khan manages to sneak a match with mayweather you can bet floyds corner will address this!
Khan and Devon have both clinched illegally.

They may as well change the rules, because I can't remember the last time a referee deducted a point or even warned a fighter for blatantly clinching, which is most certainly illegal. We hear boxers say, "this isn't a bar room brawl" and then turn-around and resort to illegal tactics to win a fight...**** doesn't make any sense.

        WARRRRRRRRRRRRR KHAN!
I haven't even commented on this matter yet, but thinking about it now, I can't help but imagine if it was the other way around - I'm not sure a Chinese man would get any support from CBS-Showtime. I was on the fence with whom I was going to root for, but Khan it is

I'll be watching Timmeh that night tho.

Devon and Khan both overrated themselves as fighters by huge amounts. This is just a fight between Khan, the 9th rated welterweight in the world and Devon, the 10th ranked welterweight in the world. The fight is just not that important. Neither fighter is that good but it is an even fight in my opinion. They are not anywhere near as good as Pacquiao or Mayweather and probably not as good as Brook or Bradley. The nice thing about this fight is unless it's a draw the loser will look foolish after all the big talk by both men.

You are right. Clinching in excess can ruin a fight and is against the rules but fighters are seldom even warned for too much clinching. I don't care for either fighter but it seems like an interesting fight. I hope the winner wins big and shuts the loser up if only for a little while.
