Comments Thread For: Froch: No Lie, If No Chavez in Las Vegas - I'll Retire!

CARL FROCH has vowed to retire if he does not land his dream Las Vegas swansong against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Promoter Eddie Hearn is nearing an agreement with Chavez's camp over a March showdown and an announcement could be made soon.

Froch, 37, has fought four times in America during a glittering career that has seen him become a three-time super-middleweight world champion.

He wants to go out with the headline Vegas PPV.

HBO have already told him a GGG fight is not PPV.

Golovkin just stated (once again) that he's not moving up until he has cleared 160.

Golovkin-Froch is not even in the table at this stage.

I hope the Froch-Chavez fight gets made. Would be a perfect conclusion to Froch's career, he deserves it.

"Tom Loeffler reportedly spoke to Eddie Hearn, the promoter for IBF/WBA super middleweight champion Carl Froch, about the unbeaten Golovkin coming over to the UK to face the 37-year-old Froch in 2015. There’s no word from Hearn whether Froch would be open to a fight like that".

“I’ve reached out to [British promoter] Eddie Hearn and I said that Gennady will come to UK and fight Carl Froch at 168 pounds in England. No problem, because he knows that he has a big numbers of supporters there, Loeffer said.

"GGG willimng to go to UK. Not much interest from Froch camp".
