...Can Khan even fight off Showtime? I just saw an interview with Espinoza today saying that the two fighters Showtime has exclusive contracts with are Mayweather and Khan. That would seem to kill off a lot of these talks about Bradley and Marquez, who are both pretty stalwart HBO fighters (or at least Bradley has been since he fought Abregu in 2010).
Both Bradley and Marquez are higher calibre than Devon so I can't hate on either fight, it's definately an adequate step up in competition and just below the elites Mayweather and Pacquiao.
I do however wonder why he isn't considering Brook, it's possible it's probably because if his career goes off track from now with a couple losses the Brook fight is always there but if he loses to Brook first then he has to start all over.
Does that really matter? Kell beats Bradley and Marquez on the same night and makes Khan do Bambi on ice the day after.
But you've always got an excuse no matter what the case. He's swerving the fight that's what it is. Probably doesn't want to get booed at Wembley again.

I think you're right about Brook. The two guys can both be "elite welterweights" by avoiding each other, but only one of them can be "UK's best welterweight" if they fight.

I think Marquez would be a dangerous fight for Khan. Marquez timing and power would be deadly on Khan. Khan has great speed but so was Pacquiao. Marquez could **** up Khans plan for a Floyd or PAc fight. He should go to Bradley if he has the chance.
It's irrelevant. And you're just doing what you always do by making excuses and sticking up for Khan if anyone says something that you don't like.
And if you're getting at the point that Marquez and Bradley would be ranked higher p4p than Kell, you're probably right. But that doesn't hide the fact that Amir doesn't want to fight Kell cause it would be risky and could end his career unlike the other two who are on the slide.
