Cause he wants bigger names right now, Brook fight will always be there and Amir knows it.

Great observation. So it basically means Brook was full of ish about calling Khan out all along.

But I suspect people here will spin it so that they can blame Khan for the fight not happening.

In a ideal world it's Brooknbut that probably isn't happening and I'd be cool with Khan fighting Bradley or Marquez next but don't know if Its a real possiblity.

Using Khan fans logic, he's ducking Brook the same way Floyd ducked him.

Also, Bradley or Marquez should now give Khan a 5 day deadline.

LOL you target soft-punching Bradley and small Marquez who is nothing special with Random blood testing...

There is a fighter named Kell Brook, he's undefeated has a WW belt, maybe someone can inform Khan who he is...

Oh, you guys are so smart.

Maybe you can explain to me how Brook and Hearn weren't full of sh.it when they called out Khan and then promptly reserved two fight dates when they knew Khan won't be available.

But no, Brook is not at fault at all. Khan is ducking him. Khan is ducking everyone ever.

I agree it's safer to have the tune up aswell it's just that they said they'd wait. But you're right he has been keen on the tune up aswell.

If Khan doesn't get Floyd then he should forget May.

                It's still tight though.
I wouldn't have any qualms if he signed to fight Bradley in May should the fight that he's waiting on not materialise. I think that's a good fight. If Floyd is true to his word then if Khan doesn't get the fight now it's gone because Amir won't fight in September when Floyd's planning on bowing out.

That would elevate the Brook fight as being the biggest fight out there for him, particularly if Pacquiao takes a loss, so I can understand if he leaves it until June next year and fights Stateside in May and December against top level opposition. If they both carrying on winning that fight is only going to get bigger.

I think Hearn would rather it happen in the summer time as opposed to Christmas but it could still conceivably happen in December with Wembley Stadium having a roof.

In terms of its potential Brook Vs Khan just seems a bit premature to me should it happen this year. In terms of an actual fight though, I'd be delighted if Khan skipped a May date like you suggest and we got to see a Brook fight in late June/early July.

At the moment the idea of that fight excites me more than Mayweather Vs Pacquiao.

Edit: My bad I wasn't aware of the Ramadan dates. The fight won't happen in June this year or next. That also means that for those who enjoy such things we get to see Khan pushing for a Mayweather bout again in September!

Khan wont be fighting Mayweather, and a Brook fight doesn't look to be happening.

So, IMO, Marquez and Bradley are solid alternatives..i'd like to see either fight.

He is also targeting Floyd duckweather and Manny Pacquiao and will fight Brook one day.
