By the time Cotto has his next fight, GGG will have fought 4 times. Against legitimate, ranked, MIDDLEWEIGHTS. Cotto will be fighting someone he has dragged up from a lower weight class because he hasn't the balls to fight someone in the division where he holds a title.

Cotto belongs in the hall of fame of Puerto Rican Chickens.

It would actually be quite sad to see him take the kind of beating GGG would give him in the ring and if he was to fight him, he would never be able to complete his great contract with Roc Nation. He would be so ashamed that he would never show his face, what was left of it, in public again.
Soon you all will get what you been wishing for, he will vacate. Then what will be left to talk about when it pertains to GGG? The Ward fans will haunt you with the claims of their fighter being ducked by your guy and what else? The guy is in a weak division with the only star being the guy you people keep calling to vacate. It's going to be a lonely world for GGG fans once the bum Cotto vacates.

A career JrMW who lost in the semi-finals of ESPN's Contender series way back in 2006. He's 41 years old and the current IBF Jr Middleweight champion.

As sad as he seems as an opponent, he is capable of beating Cotto which would send ripples of laughter through GGG fans around the world.

I am sick of hearing this horse **** about cotto being to small. Roberto Duran was smaller and fought Iran "into a right" barkley who was a LH and gigantic. I do not know how Duran took the punches from Barkley who knocked out Hearns with one punch while pounding the hell out of him almost KOing barkley. Duran was the bravest and best fighter I ever saw. These other bums are cowards

Ward fans are even more pitiful than Cotto fans. The guy can't even get a tune up fight approved by HBO. No one wants to bother with him. There are plenty of quality fighters in middleweight for GGG to fight, Lemieux, Quillin, Lee, Eubank Jr., BJ Saunders, N'Dam, as well as two other titles to win. Once he has unified the titles, he will go up to SMW and do the same there.

While GGG is fighting 4 times per year and winning titles, Ward will still be looking for tune up fights and a network willing to broadcast them. Ward will have been stripped of his remaining title and be begging Haymon to let him fight on the undercard of one of his Spike TV PBC shows. But that won't happen because he will be tied up in court trying to break his contract with Roc Nation, for whom he will have yet to fight so much as once.

As a Cotto fan, I rather read comments like this than the "he's too small and will get demolished and should vacate" comments. This is boxing and no fight is a forgone conclusion. Upsets happen all the time, although I personally believe Cotto has a real chance against GGG.
