Yes, this is true. Not gonna lie, sometimes drink some of the fancy beer kind of pricey, but gets you drunk faster. Will drink anything, though. Don't really care, as long as it gets you drunk.

I would agree with you only if I was drinking to get fcked up, but when I want to kick back and have a few I won't touch any of the beers you mentioned.
