Lara seems like the only guy who does not have "distant future" plans for GGG...he will take near future. GGG needs fights, at least Lara is stepping up to the plate.

anyone who hates lara and says he's a runner should enjoy watch him fight GGG, i don't see whats the hate for, its not like GGG can't cut the ring off and hits harder than anyone lara has fought.

canelo vs cotto has been in the making for 3 years now, if cotto would have never taken the trout fight or won that fight, we could have gotten it then but things happen for a reason.

Canelo can just say that fight was done. GGG needs fighters. I would like Lara to at least move up to middle beforehand though, otherwise GGG would get no credit for beating a JMW.
