Roach is a clown....nothing but f'ckery comes outta his mouth....with that said, Cotto would ALWAYS give Floyd hell...with or without Roach I'd always give Cotto a DESCENT shot at winning....Cotto's chances of beating Floyd has ALWAYS been better than Pac's imho

Floyd is a bit lucky that there's no demand for this fight...I know his fanboys only care about bragging rights and saying "9-3" "8-4"...but if they actually payed attention, they'd know Floyd had to really work for that victory even though he got the rounds, because the skill discrepancy wasn't big....his two biggest advantages in that fight were his edge in explosiveness and stamina......to me it seems Roach has helped Cotto with both...the jury is still out on his stamina a bit, because he hasnt had a long fight, but the pace he has been setting in his fights lately is pretty high and he hasn't looked winded at all. Floyd would be the favorite, but he would leave the ring beat up, win or lose.

        Didnt he say the same thing about Pac? my rd 1 3, 2:6 3:5 4:12 5:3 6:14 7:6 8:5 9:6 10:9 11:6 12:4
Yeah Pac landed this in each round and Pac-roids say it was a close
he only landed in double digits 2 rounds and those rounds were 6 and 4 and in those rounds round 6 ws 21-14 so he still lost that round too. So Pac even got the close rounds GIVEN to him and he lost those.
Perfect fight = judges giving his guys rounds they didnt come close to winning

Maybe Mayweather can put it in the contract the Cotto has to come in at 147 lbs. That way Cotto will know how it feels !!

              This

However I think with Freddie and Gavin he has a better chance at the win.
And fact is cotto is the only fighter that can beat floyd. No one else has any chance of beating him.

This is a "new fight": Cotto comes at 154.5 and the fight will be for the lineal MW belt!.................... That's a "new fight"...

"We'd have to fight the perfect fight..."

Remember him saying that a few months ago regarding Pacquiao. He will always have his escape route planned: ready to blame any loss on his fighter under-performing.
