Why do you think he hasn't been on HBO since then?
Tell us what has to happen for him to fight on HBO now.
I know you won't answer the question.

how does hbo make money off of viewership?
pretty much they only money they make is the subs that we pay monthly right?
if that is i the case it is not loss for them to give a fighter to pbc as long as they are still under contract when it counts...PPV!
IF THEY DONT HAVE TO PUT UP MONEY FOR THE FIGHT they should have no worries except that GGG might lose..and i think he stops lara

Lara on the other hand hasn't fought on HBO in years.
Scenarios not at all comparable.

GGG being a HBO fighter and Lara being with PBC is not the problem here imo. I just don't think HBO is going to pay The American Duck anything close to 1mil to fight GGG like he got paid to fight Rodriguez.
Al is welcomed to foot the bill but why would he?

and at this point i dont think GGG can do that..he might promoting on hbo as well as showtime there could be huge buyers, but i just doubt it..1.2 at most imo
showtime is doing 800k-900k with floyd vs showtime figthers
they are not going to be willing to split buys unless it gets them to at least 1 million...maybe they work out a percentage since ggg is not a star like floyd, but then HBO could get all but hurt about it and say no...

If GGG's fight is broadcast in the U.S then it will be on HBO.
They aren't going to let one of their most popular fighters go fight on another network.
Al Haymon is paying money for his guys to fight on PBC networks.
He is not going to let one of his guys go fight on another network.
Before you bring up Floyd vs Pac(because I know you will), GGG vs Lara is no where near that level.

What needs to happen is for GGG's promoter to convince HBO that Lara as an opponent would be beneficial for GGG's career, then they get clearance from Haymon to let Lara fight on HBO and there you have it. It aint about viewership, cause GGG is the draw, he has never fought an opponent worth **** so no matter who he fights people tune in to see him. Its really that simple.
Case in point, HBO say they are ready and willing to pay Stevenson his worth form him to come over and fight Kovalev. Even if he is with Haymon.
