Money maybe? Ward hasn't done sht in years, and you think fighters with something should scramble to fight him accepting all his demands?

Ward is nothing, Golovkin can set himself fighting lemuiex, ko him easily further building the hype, fight andy lee or cotto/canelo

Ward will have to take some risk also and not just expect everything to go his way, but i'm not sure he really cares about these fights(against neither Golovkin or Kovalev), guy has got that Haymon-esque paydays where he can do just fine fighting the smiths of the world.

Ward just said on SBnation that Gennady wouldn't be next. Now we have a unnamed source saying they want Gennady next and he doesn't want the fight?.... Maybe I'll wait for a rebuttal from team GGG. Because apparently they are negotiating with GB for Lemeuix, so this sounds desperate.

Ward has always seemed like a diva to negotiate with, I knew this fight would be hard to make. I want Gennady to just take this fight at 168 already. It won't happen before the fight with the cenalo cotto winner though, this is all premature. And If Vegas makes Gennady an underdog in this fight, my bet will be on Gennady. His sparring partners north of 168 have all said his power is for real. Ward has never faced a fighter as good as him. I hope it happens in 2016.

Once again there is the old 'unnamed source' for this 'story'. Until someone reputable is willing to come out ON THE RECORD, none of these 'insider information' based stories are worth the time it takes to read them.
