I want Lomachenko vs Cruz.

I was sort of rooting for Mares in this one since he had taken the harder road to contender status than Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz seemed to only take the fight because of the pressure from his critics and the constant desire from the fans to see this match up. After the fight was over, I gained more respect for Santa Cruz since he not only won definitively, he was able to make an adjustment after the first few rounds and actually use his height and reach to his advantage. Mares could not make the adjustment to find range enough to win many of the rounds past the middle of the fight. Santa Cruz is going to need to use his range to it's fullest capacity if he is to be successful against any of the other current SBW/FW belt holders if he decides to make an attempt to unify the titles.

Alot closer thena the scores read but Mares lost.

Both were exciting and i want to see both fight again.

I've never seen a fighter throw so many punches and work so hard and not get anything accomplished. He did a whole lot of nothing. It was LSC who landed the better shots throughout the fight.

FYI- I was rooting for Mares but he fought sloppy and wreckless.
