Lee vs GGG cancelled (the original false rumor)

So many heads on NSB carried on with the rumor, and apparently many industry heads whether it was from K2 or DiBella, why didn't any industry reports reflect on the original cancellation?

Let's be honest, was there ever a real negotiation? Personally I think Lee was cool with the cancellation because in reviews you never hear him once ever state a context about the original being off, more like news to him. Same thing with GGG, seems like K2 or Sanchez would say something about the original Lee bout cancellation when they went running their mouths that they wanted top Southpaw opposition right before fighting Monroe Jr.... We fans can assume top opposition and perhaps stir rumors, but when if Sanchez or GGG ain't specifically calling out names or Lee vise versa, then it's all buul**** from fake boxing sources trying to stir out of a fight.

I mean Lee was supposed to be before Geale. No word ever about it.

But fighting a Rosado at his first fight at MW was no problem for Golovkin or his groupies right?

Why would it be? It was Golovkin's second fight on HBO just a few months after his American debut. After that fight, Rosado went on to beat a roided J'Leon Love, only to get robbed by the judges. Since then though he's lost quite a few fights in brutal matches against Quillin, Charlo and Lemieux.

So his father died and somehow that only relates to Lee? Loeffler said he'd be back in the summer of 2014 and that was Geale. How many people did he fight up until Monroe Jr.? Do you want me to link you the video of Sanchez saying that wanted a guy like Monroe Jr. (Southpaw) to test GGG's greatness. I mean seriously you can't protect GGG when ducking like this is clear and present.

Or is it because his father died?

lol right, bringing a guy up from 154 with no notable wins is better.

Are you ******ed? Golovkin vs Andy Lee was set, both sides came to an agreement. It wasn't a particularly great fight as many people were complaining it was too easy of a fight for Golovkin (Lee didn't have a title) and it was being called a mismatch by many writers and websites. Gennady's father died. The fight was cancelled and Gennady went to Kazakhstan to mourn his father for 40 days, as is tradition. Lee took a couple easy fights and got an opportunity to fight Matt Korobov for a vacant title, which Al Haymon immediately got in contact with Andy Lee to make a Quillin fight, to try and get Quillin's belt back that he was just stripped of. Meanwhile Golovkin fought Geale and then got an opportunity to fight Rubio for the WBC interim belt, to use to try and get Cotto. Each guy went there own path since the cancellation of their planned April match, each with their own motive. To suggest K2 and/or Andy Lee were avoiding eachother when they were set to fight eachother is laughable and just another ****** post/thread on your part obsessing over Golovkin. Golovkin vs Lee is a mismatch and the only reason anyone wanted it to happen was to unify.

Beating a guy on a 7 fight winning streak is better than fighting a guy losing his last 4/5 fights, absolutely. Context man. There is no confirmation of a Canelo Rosado fight anyways and I seriously doubt that will happen.
