1) what is the statute of limitations on a lie ?
2) regardless as to how long ago that statement was made, the fact remains, it was made..... so, how many times did Golovkin attempt to back up that statement?
Is the answer to BOTH of those questions..... 0 ?

Ward chose inactivity. Now he needs tune ups and interim fights.
He just lied about being injured and pulled out of a fight in November. He is 10lbs of **** in a 5lb bag.

Originally posted by ИATAS View PostWell lets see, he tried to fight Ward couple years back, Ward had his typical "get your fanbase up" type response turning him down. He then signed a fight with Chavez jr who ended up pulling out due to promotional issues, he attempted to fight Froch who considered it, then retired. So there are three instances right there when Golovkin attempted to take fights at 168. Now go back to your gutter.
You are just another golov-tool if you think they tried to make a Ward fight.
BTW, " attempting to back up that statement ", means fighting, not talking about it.

The mind boggles at how you can actually try and 'defend' the idleness of Ward, the sheer difficulty of anything to do with him when it comes to boxing. He is a mess.
And then you try and criticise Golovkin! A guy who is now having tremendous difficulty getting the best to go in with him, who Ward wanted none of, and who fights several times a year.
If you really believe Ward sent a bona fide offer to GGG (when he knew GGG was booked already) then you are supremely naive. If you can't spot the difference in the willingness of these two fighters to create a legacy, if you can tell me why Ward bolted bolted before the end of Kovalev Pascal II? You guy is a *****, and is getting his ass handed to him if he ever mans up and faces Kovalev or GGG, but I doubt those days will come - in fact, he's got his hands full with this young Cuban guy, could be funny.

Another tool who thinks that the "GGG really did try to fight Ward, honest" story, sounds as good as the "anyone from 154-168" story.
Kool man, now you have heaps of bedtime stories to tell your kids.
Can't wait to watch you bet your life savings on Kovalev.

There seems to be 2 distinct camps..... those who bet that Ward will fail, and those who bet that Ward will win.
I know which camp I'd rather be in.
