Lmfao at "paid his dues". I agree with what you said about Brook needing to fight a higher tier of opposition, but it shouldn't have been nearly as difficult to make the fight between the two. Also, Khan stopped paying any kind of dues the moment he started his crusade to fight Floyd Mayweather after that loss to Garcia seemed to shake/diminish his belief in his ability. Instead of going back to the gym, identifying and working on improving his flaws and becoming a better fighter, he employed a strategy to fight second tier fighters and look good/blow them out so as to look good enough that people would push and pressure Floyd into fighting him, but he failed. He then tried to do the same with Manny and failed. Then Saul's team saw that he didn't care WHO he fought, so long as it was against a "big name" and swooped in, orchestrating a GGG duck.

I've rambled on and I apologise for that, but the point I was trying to make was that the dues he paid in my opinion were wasted in the years he spent begging for a fight that he could use to cash out on his career and rep his hand speed built for him, which bums me out. He didn't build any skills around his hand speed to create an all round package, he just hoped fast hands would be enough for his entire career. Waste of talent in my opinion.

Very well said. His mouth and stanky leg dance made him a "name". Way to step up Canelo!!!

He just doesn't wana give Brook a payday. He knows Brook is struggling to get fights. Hence why he doesnt want Brook to make money off of him. Silly when you think about it but that's his mentality.

If he really is that ridiculously short sighted and petty, then it's not just his ring IQ that's virtually non existent.

It's simply about not giving Kell a payday. The IBF WW champion of the world wants to fight a guy who has been knocked out multiple times, looked bad in his last outing vs a mediocre fighter in Algieri.

Beating Khan does NOTHING for Brook's resume other than him being a recognisable name on his resume and his biggest pay day by far. Everyone and their grandmother has Brook beating Khan as well which seems like the most logical outcome of the fight.

All the Brookturds knows this, you'd think they'd make a gofundme or kickstarter page for poor Kell by now.

... what payday, lad? Khan would have to give him his own scalp and retire... therefore...

Seriously? This has nothing to do with the payday or whatever, its a grudge match. A fight between two dudes who don't like each other. It's a fight that pitches fanbases and pulls casuals into it resulting in an electric, raucous atmosphere. Its a massive boxing event which coupled with an awesome undercard could be an amazing night of boxing.

Besides, Khan was the one who threw up the roadblock of Kell needing a world title. When he got it, he found another reason to duck. Amir Khan is on the same level as Loeffler and Sanchez.

Can't blame Khan. There's just no motivation in fighting a guy that is fond of taking on Bizier type opponents.
