Comments Thread For: Pedraza Wants Lomachenko, Agrees Martinez Was Drained

IBF super featherweight world champion Jose "Sniper" Pedraza (22-0, 12KOs) was ringside at the Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City last weekend, and watched good friend Roman "Rocky" Martinez lose his WBO championship by way of a brutal knockout at the hands of Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4KOs).

martinez suddenly outgrew the division he's been fighting in for his whole pro career at the age of 33? not buying it unless he ****ed up his training camp

Not buying it either. He's been making that weight for a long time. If he was drained, it would he because he screwed up his training camp.

Please his fault for not making weight. At any weight would have been picked apart busted up admitted he couldn't even see punches coming a non weight issue a blazing timing hand speed foot speed angle issue. I see already like Ward Lomo destined to be hated on

Pedraza don't do this please. You're going to end up just like Rocky if you fight Lomachenko.

Martinez has always looked like a skeleton. He wasn't drained. He is tall for the division though. I'd like to see him give lightweight a try his next time out.

This is true. Martinez has been saying for a while now that he has trouble making 130. He even had a fight at 135 before the first Salido fight.

He just kept cutting weight because that's where the money was.

As for Pedraza I wouldn't mind seem him face Lomachenko. If it's true that Arum and Haymon are willing to work together then that would be a great fight to start the cooperation with.
