Now when has Ward ever beaten a fighter as dynamic, dangerous and much bigger like Kovalev, please?
    1) Kovalev is not much bigger, his only size advantage is a 4cm reach advantage. They weight the same and have the same height. Froch and Kessler had bigger size advantages when Ward fought them at 168lbs. Both are taller and more reachy than Kovalev.

    2) Kovalev couldn't KO an old shot Hopkins, who is basically just a slower, weaker and less dynamic version of Ward. How do you expect him to KO Ward when he could only score 1 knockdown against grandpa Hopkins, lol? Get real, YDKSAB.

    3) Ward has such a wide resume, with wins against Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Bika, Dawson, Barrera, Rodriquez, etc., that there is no point in mentioning Kovalev as some unseen force. He has not proven to be better than guys like Kessler and Froch yet.

It will be the toughest fight of wards career but he will win. Kovalev has serious power and probably will hit him with some good shots, but wards technical skills and speed is on another level and he will beat him by outboxing him and using his defense. Wards skills are rigo and floyd level

1-Yeah, "only" a 2 inch reach advantage. A real expert like you would write that off especially with a guy like Kovalev who knows how to use his reach and fight on the outside.
Kovalev is bigger and stronger because he's been at this weight class a lot longer and is used to the feel and hits. Ward's not the same size just because he recently put on weight. A real expert like you should know that it takes a while to truly be set into a weight class. Regardless, he could never clinch-game Kovalev like he does other opponents, if you think that then you're deluded.

2-Kovalev could have stopped Hopkins at literally any round of the fight. Everybody knows he took it easy on him out of respect and to show his skillset to the world. Bottom line is that Kov has fought a guy like Ward, Andre has never fought a guy like Kov. How do I expect him to KO Ward? Just go run into another brick wall as you usually do, you will find that blunt traume to the brain will keep you from staying concious.

3-As I said above he has never fought someone like Kovalev. None of the names you mentioned are similar to Krusher, at all. They don't have his raw punching power, a big strength and size advantage, they can't fight going forward and backward, they don't combine accurate punches in bunches, they don't have an effective jab with a 2 inch reach advantage, they don't have his overall will and determination. Forget about it.

.....so who has kov fought like Ward? it definitely was a 50 year old hopkins. Ward has his know how, and a lot more athletic prowess...Also he hits harder, is faster, catches and counters a lot swifter

Ward would white wash him that's why Hopkins never wanted to fight Ward.

Ward could win but there will be no clowning.

If Ward clowns Kovalev then he's gotta be the greatest fighter of his era. I think this is as 50-50 as it gets
