What so many people fail to realize is that Canelo and Saunders have many more options than Golovkin, so Golovkin will need to either concede to Canelo terms or pay Saunders the money that he wants.

Canelo and Saunders have each other and other middleweights like Jacobs, Eubank and Lemieux as options but now another potential opponet might emerge before the end of the year for both Canelo and Saunders. IF Brook beats or has a good showing against Golovkin in a loss, Brook becomes a potential lucrative Middleweight opponent for both Canelo and Saunders but also a potential Jr Middleweight opponent for a Jr Middleweight title holding Canelo.

"the doors still open (with Saunders) and we're going to see if we can get something done. We haven't stopped communicating..."

Bro, you need some coffee this morning or something. Youre contradicting yourself and making my point for me. You had just said Canelo was a MW, lineal MW champ in fact. Now you give me a quote saying he's going to move up. Move up to what, 168? Right there he is saying that he is a 154 fighter. He will move up (from 154 to 160) when his body is ready. Like I said, when its time to fight Saunders, its a viable option. When its time to fight GGG, "Bottom line os that he's a 154..."

You must be slow in the morning.

It is a fact that Canelo is the RING and Lineal Middleweight Champion.

It is a fact that Canelo's next fight is at 154 and for a 154 pound title which would make Canelo a simultaneous Jr Middleweight and Middleweight Champion.

We all know that Canelo has never fought at the 160 pound limit so Canelo fighting at 154 and 155 would make a move to the limit of 160 a "move up".

When you are currently fighting at 154, i.e. for a 154 lb title next month, you can call yourself a 154 lb fighter.

We have no idea if Canelo will or will not stipulate a catchweight for a Saunders fight. All we know is that Canelo has the leverage over Saunders and Golovkin, and will flex that muscle against each one in whatever way he and GB sees fit.

Are you unaware of boxers moving up to claim titles and then returning to their previous weight class? Have you not heard of Floyd Mayweather Jr, Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Shane Mosely, Roy Jones Jr, Tommy Hearns, Ricky Hatton.....

Somalia is better run than is Boxing today which is a MESS

Boxing has zero leadership no structure and boxing today is a wide open cess pool type of smelly sewer filled with crap. Who calls the shots in boxing? Fricking no one as fighters and promoters pick and choose their opponents carefully. Title belts are worthless and there are hundreds of title belts that mean nothing. Boxing is a rudderless ship barely afloat in the Boxing Bermuda triangle which is Greed Lust and Scum.

He would still be the lineal champ at MW, so technically he could be a simultaneous world champ, but under Ring rules he should be stripped of the belt when he fights in another weight class. The rule is very clear on that. Lets see if Oscar follows his own rules.

Im not buying that "he never fought at the full limit" talk. The MW division is from 155-160. Canelo has been fighting at MW for 3 years now. It doesnt even sound right to me to say "the MW champion is going to move up to MW...". We have divisions for a reason. My opinion is that you move up or down a division ie from JMW to MW. I cant see gaining a few pounds within a single division as a "move up" He is "moving up" from MW (155) to MW(160)??

Then you say he is fighting at 154 amd can call himself a 154 fighter. My man, this is what started our whole convo. You said Canelo was an option for BJS and I responded that he says he is a 154 fighter. Now you're saying he can call himself a 154 fighter, just like I said to begin with. So which is it, is he a 154 fighter, or is he a 160 fighter having a "one off" fight at 154? I guess that depends on whether we're talking about a fight with GGG or one with Saunders.

You've given several examples of fighter moving up (I guess you mean actual divisions now, rather than just "moving up" within a division). I'll give you another example of a fighter moving up then returning to his original division. Saul Alvarez. He moved up to MW, won a title, (handed it over to GGG) then moved back down to his original division

..... then why didn't you make him a fair offer when you had the chance ?

..... because, the asking price somehow just got cheaper, right ?

..... or is it the old..... signed Brook, talked about Saunders, angle ?

If Canelo/Saunders happens next, GBP will run the show, not Warren.

That fight will most definitely be PPV.

And Saunders will likely make 3x what Team Bull**** offered him.
