Is this the same Canelo who called Golovkin into the ring after a fight and promised to fight him next, then handed over his WBC title and ran away instead of keeping his word?
Is this the same Canelo who has repeatedly stated that he won't even think about fighting GGG for at least another year? Is that him?
And the offer Superduck turned down from Duva and HBO was for a PPV fight with a 50/50 split of the income. Nothing shitty about that. Even Yvon Michel aknowledged that it was a very fair offer.
Stevenson's strange fickle loyalty to Showtime - he is only loyal to them when Kovalev's name is mentioned - was what scuppered the fight.Last edited by kafkod; 10-17-2016, 04:12 AM.

She got both demands....then took off running
Kovalev called Adonis a chicken, then bolted from his OWN post fight interview the second he saw Stevenson.

GBP made an offer and they turned it down. That's a duck by NSB standards right? No matter how ridiculous the offer might be. Plus I was being sarcastic but making my point at the same time. 50/50 split is fair but the garunteed money was light. Stevonson wanted more money up front.
