GGG needs to do a lot more before he sits at their table. To be honest, I don't know if he has the available competition to get there.
Its not debatable. He beat the second best middleweight in the world. Just because the victory was close it doesn't erase the victory.
For ****s sake it hasn't even been a week since the fight. Goshdarn drama queen. And once again, if GGG gets his way he would have fought Jacobs, Saunders and Canelo in consecutive fights. No one GGG could fight has the balls to try that. That's a more accomplished list of opponents than Jacobs has had his entire career and GGG is trying to do go through those opponents in 6 months. Refusing to try and proof it my arse.
GGG didn't duck Ward because Ward was too busy ducking Dan Goosen to fight GGG.
the point is, that " victory " is debatable
Golovkin was very lucky
your last sentence tells me whats up

Haters. You guys are acting like GGG once smacked your mom in the face with his penis. Get over yourself.
Danny Jacobs is ranked in the top 10
he is ranked just above Golovkin in my top 10

Doesn't matter if the victory is debatable. He won. He took the fight, out punched Jacobs, dropped Jacobs and won the fight. It was close but he won. And GGG is going to try and fight two other highly ranked fighters next. Jacobs will get his rematch. Just because it isn't happening right away it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

It's no different and the exact same reason why De La Hoya has been keeping Canelo away from GGG these past two years. It's because he fears that Canelo may get his whooped.
For example, the only reason why Oscar have been holding Canelo back all these months, by having him relinquish his WBC title belt he had previously won against Miguel Cotto and then subsequently having him move back down to the 154lb division is because he knows once his guy steps into that ring with Gennady Golovkin it's over. He is going to get his ass knocked out.
So as Canelo's promoter; Oscar's job is to protect his only cash cow by keeping him winning, healthy and marketable. It's only common sense. Those choices don't make Oscar a coward but a very smart and savvy business man.
Canelo would be taking a huge risk by challenging GGG. That's why De La Hoya has been very cautious with sending him in there; By making excuses, stalling and avoiding him over these past several months.
