David Benavidez needs to join the World Boxing Super Series

I'd give him a good chance to take the 168 tournament

HE needs to work on his defense. He will probably a future great 168. But at this point, not yet. Imagine if he fights even an old Kessler and Kessler landed one of those thunderous right hands right on his chin?

Its a big gamble given that he is still a work in progress. He isnt even a contender yet.

Yea I agree. I don't hate his chances vs anyone in that tournament thus far. Not sure who else is getting in obviously, but if its similar guys as are in already & he doesn't sneak in there last minute he missed a huge opportunity in my eyes.

Can't hate on if he doesn't get involved or anything, but I think its a good move regardless if he wins it or not. Guy has virtually no amateur experience & has already come along greatly in his pro career at his young age & he's shown massive potential already. Might as well keep the upward trajectory going.

He would beat the s hit out Kessler.

The kid has been sparring and holding his own with Pavlik and GGG since he was 14.

Groves might not be an easy fight but the rest of the tourney looks pretty weak
