Where do you casuals come out of? Lomachenko is fighting at 130 while Rigo last fought at the Super Bantamweight limit of 118 lbs. If you remotely had a clue about boxing or ever laced them up, you would know that NO fighter would go down 2 weight classes to fight anyone. That fight is a pipe dream for some of you casuals because you're clueless and that's putting it very very lightly...

rigos been too inactive and hasnt fought a live body for years. his momentum is gone and so are his prime years. loma does a number on him, easier than people think.

Many of the posters here are fake fans or casuals whose only interest is in being able to say he ducking doe.
In reality this fight is far from happening because of the weight difference.
Ask Al Bernstein. But it's still good ammunition in hating on Lomachenko.

Rigo's ego won't allow him to suffer an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Loma. If he was going to fight him it would have happened at 126, no way he goes to 130. He will price himself out and then retire without a big signature fight. Davis won't fight him, and I doubt Rigo wants anything to do with Russell Jr. at 126/130 either. Rigo squandered his prime.

You're getting really specific with your triangle theories.

Rigo fights at 122, not 118. Also, there are 3 divisions between 118 and 130, not 2, although there are 2 divisions between Loma and Rigo. Furthermore, Rigo said he would go up to 130 to fight Loma. However, Loma ended up fighting Marriaga. The fight may not happen and I would say that it's due to weight. However, Bob Arum also doesn't want this fight to happen. Rigo already derailed the Donaire hype. If Loma fights and loses to Rigo, it would be the second time Top Rank gets burned by him. Not worth the risk...

You people keep saying this nonsense.
Arum attempted to make the fight happen in 2015.
Rigo priced himself out. End of story.
How many times do we have to repeat this?
I was even surprised Arum took interest when he heard about the scuffle
between Loma and Rigo on social media, which the Cuban started.
Loma and Arum basically called his bluff accepting the terms Rigo and his team THEY THEMSELVES dictated.
As expected, Rigo's camp started demanding more money PLUS a change in their initial weight terms.

Some crumbs that was left from that silly saga.

(We need a sticky for this.)

Sorry, if you have repeated this numerous times. I didn't know. With that being said, Arum always claims that a fighter is pricing himself out. He said that Mikey priced himself out against Loma and Mikey came back and completely refuted that. Bob says this all the time. I'm not just going to take his word for it, but Mikey seems more like a straight shooter. I don't believe Rigo just priced himself out.
