that's true so he doesn't have the resume yet and I'm not saying he can't be an all time great but others are already anointing him

I agree, but you’ve got to lay that at Parker’s doorstep I’m afraid (and the terrible referee to a degree). He backed off to the ropes and threw that fast jab which fell short all fight and never changed his tactics up when they weren’t working. AJ had an easy way to win the fight and took it. It was smart, if incredibly unexciting. He’s hardly been reticent to go for the kill in previous fights.

Niceties. No shame in showing respect to another man’s mother.

I agree no shame in doing that but also no need.
              This is boxing not netball.

Well you're not likely to suffer a concussion in Netball. If you're going to nice to an opponent's Mum it probably should be a sport where a brain is likely to rattle around inside a cranium.

Give him a chance he has only been boxing Pro for 5 years champion almost 2 - All he can do is beat the best in the division where possible nothing else. My advice for Joshua just concentrate on your money you have maximum 10 - 12 years left in industry, dont get caught up in legacy and all that rubbish just plan for your future.

True, though to be honest I’d rather there be respect a bit more often in boxing.

Sometimes you’re going to like the guy you’re supposed to be hitting in the face. Fact of life. All the fake “I’m’a kill dis biyatch” stuff gets on my nerves. Sure, if the needle is there, it’s there (like AJ-Whyte). Great. Use it in the ring. Use it in interviews. Promote with it. But when it’s not there? Don’t try and artificially create it. Everyone sees through it. It’s tiresome and it devalues the real thing.

I agree he will and has been recognized for that but not all time great yet. On the way though.
