I like GGG himself. It's what his fans and trainer created that's annoying. They all made him out to be this indestructible force that would annihilate anything in its path. It seems like GGG himself started eating it up. Then when he was finally bested, none of them, including GGG, could handle it.

He had a terrible trainer and promoter his whole career. He only ever fought bums and conned the simple-minded boxing fans into thinking he was something special.

Had he had a good trainer and promoter, he could have started upping his competition about six years ago and actually beaten some quality opponents.

He is still a damn good fighter and still put on an entertaining match that I enjoyed. It was a very close fight, and you guys act like GGG's career is over. It's just 1 loss, and it's against a top, elite level fighter whom he even managed a draw with the first time round, and some say he arguably won. He must have made good money for the 2 fights combined. Everyone I know personally seem to enjoy the fight and didn't have anything bad to say about it or GGG's loss. It was a good ass fight where both canelo and GGG had a good account of themselves, so what's the issue here? I think we should appreciate such fighters for putting their lives on the line, giving us good matches instead of being childish, calling names such as "lil g". This new generation of boxing fans are a sad bunch. It does not matter who you like and hate, but a good ass fight deserves respect and admiration.
