Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder-Fury Has Only Sold 8,000 Tickets; Not A Good Look

If the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury fight produces impressive ticket and pay-per-view revenue, Eddie Hearn is willing to offer Wilder a larger purse split for a heavyweight title unification showdown against Anthony Joshua.

        Hearn is right.
It's an excellent test of their real market power.
I'm going so I guess I'll see for myself how busy it is.

The undercard not helping the buys either.

They’ll get a million buys from Alabama alone....lets go champ!

The undercard is fuçkîng up the sell, Fury has done his part to sell it but Wilder hasn’t!

He was getting absolutely thrashed verbally by Fury, I expected more from him on the trash talk side!

It’s a solid main event but a horrible undercard, just as bad as Canelo vs ggg 2 undercard!

Why didn’t they match up Joe Joyce with Ortiz? That alone could’ve sold more people into it or even have a Mexican fighter!

              Wtf is Haymon doing?

“I’ve said it before – if they do a million buys and show us that they are a draw,” Hearn said, “then we have to accept that and we have to say, ‘No, fair play. You’re bringing a lot to the table.’
                1 mil UK PPV's @ $25= $25 mil

                1 mil US PPV's @$70= $70 mil

Who would be the A-side then?

                If Wilder-Fury sells 300k that's $21 mil

                That makes more sense

As long as Tyson fury doesn't somehow diffuse the bomb squad, I could care less how well this fight sells. Joshua-Wilder needs to happen next, otherwise I'm done looking forward to the fight.

Put Joshua in the states and see how he sells
