Business move, definitely. I didn't follow the negotiations at the time so I didn't know the motives for vacating. I considered GGG the man to beat at 160 even with Canelo beating Cotto, I didn't consider him the Champ until he beat GG

How could I forget Cotto @ 155? My bad! From Floyd to Fielding! That's quite the resume! My wish is to see Canelo vs. Spence Jr. @ 160, before Canelo moves to 168 for good!

Basically, if you're good enough, you can get that work! We might not like waiting for it at times, but Canelo's resume is the best in boxing today! I think GGG pushed him past Pacquiao!

Guys I called the Canelo weight. It’ll be 162 for the 68 pounders and 168 for Lemieux. 161 for GGG to not defend MW titles and defend the 168 instead (if he wins).

It’s going to be glorious as all comers from 154-168 will have a place to meet.

It shall ironically be called “GGG Weight.” (name pending)

Because it will be the real 154-168.

          What a man.

He’s even fought a world (future in diff division) champ at 47! He beat Miguel Vasquez.

Hell, he even beat the light world flyweight champ in a street fight in “open weight”. Cracked Archi Solis’ jaw.

Man you guys are ****** asses lol

Canelo means making fights at 160 and 168. Mixing it up. Between the two weight classes.

                  NOT 162, 164, 166 and everything between.

I dig this site, I really do, but one thing really pisses me off about boxingscene: They are always hyping up a million freaking belts. Sorry, but Canelo is NOT fighting for a world title in a third weight class. At least not tomorrow night. Manny Pacquiao is a legend, no doubt about that, but HE IS NOT A CURRENT CHAMPION. Keith Thurman still has the WBA welterweight title. Which is a joke in itself! Thurman! Its been two years!

Callum Smith is the WBA super middleweight champ. Not Rocky Freakin' Fielding. Callum, Benavidez, Ramirez, and Uzcategui are all champs, title holders at 168. That's it. If Canelo wants a title at 168, he needs to fight one of those four.

I would not give GGG anything but props if he fought Fielding, or any other Champion @ 168! My problem with K2, is that he's only considering it now because Canelo is doing it first! GGG's new TV deal will tell me everything I need to know! PBC (Charlo, Hurd), ESPN (Brant), or DAZN (Canelo, Andrade)! We'll see!
