False, recent compubox reports revealed that Deontay was leading the HW division in most active and accurate jab. I thought I debunked this notion that Wilder is not skilled two years ago.
Most punches landed on Tyson Fury in a 12-round fight:
Otto Wallin - 127
Dereck Chisora - 115*
Steve Cunningham - 91
Kevin Johnson - 85
Deontay Wilder - 71
Wladimir Klitschko - 52
Ben Davison is not a surgeon so he rightfully did not speculate on recovery time. Arum and Warren are not surgeons either but that didn’t stop them from sharing their useless opinions on that issue

I would bet most dogs who perform above their level did great vs higher ranked opponents.
Fury fought those real opponents differently than he did Otto. Would it be a safe guess Fury landed his most punches vs Otto ???
Wlad 83
Wilder 84
Cunningham 106
Otto 179
Arum wants a return on this investment badly. You can tell he's getting anxious because Fury's unpredictable. That's why Bob wanted to cash him out this year.
I reckon it will delay the rematch by at least a couple of months. It was as deep a cut as I've seen since Linares retired Kevin Mitchell. He needs look no further than his own cousin for what happens to a deep cut when you fight too soon afterwards. Pulev wasted no time in ripping open that fresh scar, and the fight was pretty much decided from there.
Haymon will use this as an excuse to finally set up the undisputed fight with winner of Ruiz-Joshua.
