I'm waiting to see how the fight plays out to see if there is something up. His punch output decreased by 25% from Golovkin II to Jacobs. Maybe he was coasting, or his knee, whatever. Pretty big drop off, especially since that was after he went to 168. The coming fights will tell us whether or not there should be something to raise real su****ions.
As elite level boxers get older and wiser, they don’t necessarily need the same frequency. That’s they whole concept of trail and error for any artistry. Experience is talked about in boxing more than anything. Post Floyd wasn’t the same output as PBF, and Floyd’s wizardry in defense was more amazing as he aged because the intuitiveness got better. The perfect example is Michael Jordan. Post Jordan was the KING OF KING in accuracy that Lebron nor Kobe could ever emulate. MJ knew he could score by playing as the most wise of fighters in perimeter shooting. Post OLD Jordan routinely in almost every game did the fade away jumper when he didn’t have to yet still took the shot and banked the points! That’s what makes MJ legendary.
Canelo isn’t there yet, but he’s in this transition phase of PRIME. We should give Canelo benefit of doubt in ring in against Kovalev that he will look good. We wanted this expectancy with Mikey Garcia but Spence was too much and had a different range gameplan.
So are you su****ious that Canelo can be as good as Floyd with intuitiveness by boxing well from the outside?

This PED guy is too funny. We all know he NEVER beat GGG. He ducked GGG. Gave his belt up to GGG and ducking him a second time. This guy is a joke. He's fighting a trash NO discipline 36yo drunk LH and we're suppose to respect this bs? What he's doing is DUCKING a stack MW division. There's PLENTY of work at 160 that fight fans would pay to see.

And if Andrade fought Derevyanchenko hed be his best challenger by two miles.
Whatever doe. I kinda think there is a good chance GGG doesnt got more than 1 or 2 fights left so Canelo can avoid him if he wishes to & hell I could see him losing to Derevyanchenko next time out & then GGG is for sure out of the Canelo sweepstakes & we definitely wont get that trilogy fight.

Mention Ward and it was always “but GGG isn’t a big Middleweight.” Can’t believe they bought all that from Loeffler and Abel. Look at Proksa vs GGG. The toothpick was nowhere near the mass/size for the rehydrated GGG. If GGG hydrated to 173, it somehow translated to him being “small.” JCC Jr. wasn’t even a big Middleweight. He was a Big Super Middleweight that HBO allowed him to take things to make weight because he was the son of and the mid-post Golden age of HBO.

Canelo is repeatedly saying... that he will never fight Golovkin again
Canelo To Return at 160, But Not vs. GGG: 'We're Finished'...
http://jeetwin188.com/canelo-r...nished--142688
I think he has moved on... a trilogy fight will never happen
fcuk Golovkin... he should have behaved like a champion
after demanding that Canelo stand and fight him like a Mexican, Golovkin should have given Canelo credit...
... and he should have immediately jumped on Andrade AND Charlo, to force the trilogy fight... JUST LIKE CANELO WOULD HAVE DONE IF HE LOST THE REMATCH TO GOLOVKIN
crying, and fighting Rolls... will not/should not, land you a Canelo fight
