Canelo Alvarez admits that he's not exactly motivated to have a third bout with middleweight rival Gennady Golovkin. On November 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the Mexican superstar will climb up by two weight divisions to challenge Sergey Kovalev for the WBO light heavyweight title. [Click Here To Read More]
Says the guy that needed PED's and judges to get a DRAW and a SD.
b real bro - Canelo beat Cotto for the mw title and GGG was mandatory.... Canelo gave title up to avoid GGG with a lame excuse that he was not a real Mw yet....then turns around and fights Chavez at an even higher weight b4 finally fighting GGG years later. Cotto and Martinez wanted no part of GGG...to this day GGG still rated in top 10 p4p across the board - Si, ESPN, Ring Mag.....career a smoke screen - NOT!!
dammmm you in that GGGirl cult , you must also believe in the Easter bunny and Santa .
Neither was Canelo. Canelo has said multiple times he wants to be undisputed at MW & hasn't even looked Andrade's way so what's your point? Canelo got stripped & that gave GGG a more favorable option to accomplish his goal & he took it like anyone would. His main goal is to take the easiest route to get to Canelo again. Period.
You confuse me for a Canelo fan. Well I'm not. When it comes to Canelo v GGG argument, I go with the truth, in fact when it comes to any argument, boxing or otherwise, I don't take sides, I ride with the truth.
I'm well aware that they both ducked Andrade, as am I that Andrade did a lot of ducking at 154 and actually the first thing he did when he moved up to 160 is to blatantly duck Derevyanchenko.
However, I just happened to be talking about GGG at the time. There is no excuse for what GGG did, the so called all about the belts man, the so called "true fighter, not businessman" the so called "everybody is ducking me" man. Pointing out Canelo's flaws or anyone elses doesn't excuse what he did and is doing.

Not confusing you for a fan of anyone or anything. I commend you for maintaining yourself from an unbiased standpoint. Neither of these guys ducked Derevyanckenko. He wasn't worth the time or the money to either of these guys. GGG's whole "I'm a fighter, not a businessman" stuff, he dropped that long ago after he got a taste of that Canelo money. All he cares about is getting that Canelo money again. He doesn't care about legacy & proving he's the best anymore. Derevyanchenko is now an obstacle in his way on his road to Canelo so he is facing him for the belt. It's all about finding the easiest way back to Canelo. No excuses for either guy. I like both guys but I just call it how I see it.
