I will say with Kov's stamina issues and looking a little worn, and AB's apparent strong stamina, Kov would probably get KOed late there even if he won the early rounds, which I think is possible...would like to see them fight though.
Controversial in what way? Because Kovalev said so? We should all know by now that Kovalev is a bit of a sore loser and refuses to say he was beat even when it's quite clear.

I'm more willing to take Beterbiev's word tbh. What's telling is that beterbiev has been chasing the Kovalev fight but Kovalev doesn't seem to keen to fight him and for good reason.

If Anthony Yarde (a relative novice) could badly hurt and almost stop Kovalev just imagine what Beterbiev would do (Beterbiev has nasty body shots)

Am glad he is ok, I have stopped accusing boxers of "Quitting" over the last 12 months. Its not something I have an issue with now.

Former WBC light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk was released from a Philadelphia hospital Sunday morning. Ukraine's Gvozdyk spent two nights at Temple University Hospital after suffering a concussion during his 10th-round, technical-knockout loss to Artur Beterbiev on Friday night at Temple's Liacouras Center. Teddy Atlas, Gvozdyk's trainer, told ESPN.com on Sunday morning that Gvozdyk was held for observation following a physically taxing fight in which he was knocked down three times in the 10th round.

... As true fans of this sport, we should be happy that Gvozdyk is OK...

... as we also should be happy that Stevenson is better, as of lately...

Bro...what are you even talking about lol...you said AB KOed Kovalev, twice, in the ams...that was not correct...I initially referenced the apparent controversial/close nature of the Kov-AB amateur fights as evidence that someone with a good jab could possibly beat AB...I didn't say Kov won those fights...I've never seen them lol...and I did say that I felt Kov would probably win some early rounds vs AB now, but would get KOed late.

I would disagree really about Kov being a sore loser...imo he had reason to have some sour g****s after those 2 Ward fights, for different reasons...I don't know how anyone could really score that first fight against him...the only time in his pro career when he was clearly beat imo was against Alvarez and I didn't really hear any excuses from him...he just ****** it up and performed much better in the rematch.

You just kind of seem to be itching for an argument here...maybe you have always been a big Beterbiev fan or something...but then again I would expect someone like that to know about his big amateur fights, and also would expect them not to make stuff up about his amateur career...and when called out on it, I would expect you to acknowledge you were incorrect...not double down and then try to move the goalposts in efforts to 'win' an argument here.

I mean yeah besides that little flash KD vs Johnson there is really nothing to suggest he isn't the real deal so far...just a lot of impressive wins/performances in the pros and ams, apparently...look forward to seeing him fight some more.

Can you provide me a source? That the fight wasnt a ko and was in fact as close as u say? I have yet to find anything aside from some interviews...

That guy who posted the 25-24 score may...all I have is the Kovalev comments that there were 'witnesses' there at the fight(s) who felt he won...again not saying he won...but that would indicate that the fight was at least fairly close and it didn't end in KO...I would like to see the fight if possible.
