My guess is Cletus, his mum left her current husband for a black man and suddenly Cletus wants to fix the problematic issue of racism. He has took down all his confederate flag and has started watching Blacked on a daily basis.

He clearly wishes he was black though, like that Curt Henning dude. I bet he looks in the mirror and sees Ving Rhames every time.

Dude will always be white and lame and he'll never be cool like the brothas. What a sad life.

For some reason, black people are portrayed as bad boxers and horrible people in the Rocky movies and it's not just a coincidence, it's systematic.

            Rocky 1:
We first see Rocky beating a cheating black man called Spider Rico. He then ends up beating the arrogant Apollo in the end, although the judges gave it to Apollo.

            Rocky 2:
Rocky beats the arrogant Apollo again.

            Rocky 3:
Rocky loses to a rude black Clubber Lang only because he's distracted by Mickey's death and then goes on to school Clubber in the rematch.

            Rocky 4:
A once again arrogant Apollo is killed in just the second round by a white Russian called Ivan. So the white savior, Rocky, has to go to Russia and avenge his black friend.

            Rocky 5:
Rocky trains a new white hope, who beats the current black champ. All along, an evil black promoter is harassing Rocky. Rocky punches him in the end, saying "sue me for what?", as if it's a simple fact that black people can't win assault cases.

            Rocky Balboa:
An old Rocky returns to the ring to beat a young arrogant black champion called Mason Dixon.

            Creed:
Even when the black guy is a main character, he just can't win. Creed lost to Bellew in the end.

            Creed 2:
Creed had to lose to Ivan's son before he managed to beat him in the rematch. He also seems like a brat, yelling at the old nice Rocky who took him in as his student.

It's simply out of touch with reality that black people lose 90% of the time and are bad people 90% of the time. To make it worse, they even made Apollo cheat on his wife... I liked these movies as a child, but come on, it should be clear by now that they have a clear racist agenda. I recommend all of you to boycot this franchise and spread the word, it's simply horrible that Rocky is regarded as some hero in the boxing community. Stallone shouldn't be hailed for this racist franchise, it's sick that such stuff is popular in this day and age.
Come on this is going a bit far. Drago a white guy was portrayed as a ruthless POS. Tommy Gun had low character and back stabbed Rocky. Apollo Creed was arrogant. So what?? That's not unusual for World Champion boxers. Did you want Stallone to cast all the boxers as White? Some of the movies were already unbelievable enough without throwing that into the mix.

The irony of this ****** thread is that if Stallone didn't use black actors as boxers like Apollo Creed or Clubber Lang, OP and his father would be complaining that Rocky was racist and the movies were not realistic for not having any black representation in a sport that was overwhelmingly black.

Wait, what does Mr. Perfect (Curt Hennig) have to do with this? LOL

Apollo Creed was never portrayed as an inferior boxer. In fact his skills were miles ahead of Rocky. He just met a guy that had his number. Stallone was Italian. The character in the ring resembled Marciano a guy who people considered crude but determined. His last name Balboa was taken from Rocky Graziano whose real name was Thomas Rocco Barbella. Further more he cast as his brother in law Bert Young who had to change his name from Richard Morea in order to get work in Hollywood because of the prejudice toward Italians when he first started out. I could look at that and say why did Stallone cast an obvious self loathing Italian in a role of a weak boozing brother in law. What I am getting at is if you go out of your way to look for trouble where none exists you will end up making it yourself. By the way as an Italian Canadian I'm seriously thinking of starting a class action law suite against Nintendo. Their characterization of Mario and Luigi has forced me to listen to an endless ****** of really really lame Italian jokes. In other words chill.out it's just a movie..
