I think Joshua might be shot

I’ve been watching some Anthony Joshua fights before and after his war with Wladimir Klitschko.

He looks like a completely different fighter prior to the Klitschko fight. He looks a lot faster, his hands look lightening fast actually. He moves around the ring a lot and boxes impressively. He’s very fluid and has really solid defense.

I’m incredibly impressed with him in these old fights.

After his war with Klitschko, he stands still, looks stiff, seems slower, gets hit way too often and seems to be looking for the kill all the time.

Takam was really coming on in that fight before the stoppage, Povetkin was having his way but just couldn’t stand up to the eventual barrage. (I don’t think Parker tested him enough to be included on this list)

    Then the Ruiz fight happened.

I’m wondering if the Klitschko fight ruined him. It was brutal and he probably should have been knocked out. It reminds me of Vargas-Trinidad. Vargas was another young guy who was an amazing boxer but completely changed after that beating. He outboxed Quartey and Wright but after the Trinidad fight, it seemed like he lost a step and he turned into a flat footed brawler who tried to impose his size and strength.

I think we might be seeing the same thing with Joshua. I think he might be shot already.

Regardless I give him credit for going all out at a young age.

He is. That's why I say they've done a good job selling this as a competitive fight when they really know this is the end for AJ.

Just wait until after the fight and you'll hear the truth.

But imma hater so ignore me

I can definitely see that, but he also looked like this vs Whyte. I think it's more a style / mental process that he's going through. I have absolutely no idea what we are going to see on Saturday. Maybe he's shot and gets ruined by the first temple shot he receives - maybe he comes out and spins on the front foot and smashes 1-2's down the pipe. The whole scenario is fascinating really and i'm so glad so be part of it all - I've watched literally everything build up wise on youtube

I'm equally hyped for Povetkin vs Hunter, think Hunter by late stoppage!

Didn't he say he will retire if he has another fight like Klitschko fight? I think he is just mentally weak probably a ****** idea to take him out of his comfort zone and rematch in Saudi Arabia

I think its more to do with what Marvin hagler once said about silk pajamas, he was still hungry in the klit fight but since that he has earned millions and maybe his richness has dulled that instinct a bit knowing he could comfortably retire at any point in recent time. Maybe he looks at it like an obligation to hearn/sky instead of wanting to fight for himself his desire may have changed somewhat.

I mean I couldn't blame him for losing the value of boxing, however have you seen the "welcome to my crib" with aj? he lives in a dusty ole 1 bedroom while training
