Comments Thread For: Frank Warren on Andy Ruiz: Heavyweight King To Burger King!

THREE PIECES OF the world heavyweight championship pie returning to British ownership was the good news from the weekend, the not so good was the champion looking in no fit state to defend. Fair play to Anthony Joshua. He got his game plan and tactics just right while confronting any lingering demons from his June demise in New York. He did what we tell boxers to do on a daily basis hit and don't get hit so no boxing people can have any complaints over that.

Bloody hell, I didn’t think Frank Warren was capable of being funny but there’s some great lines in there. Genuinely laughed out loud.

‘At the weigh in Ruiz was literally the elephant in the room.’

‘Joshua must have been wondering which chin to aim for.’

Hey Frank, the same **** that happened to Tyson Fury minus all the Drugs!! LOL! You are a hypocrite piece of garbage to write an article like this unless you wrote one about Tyson Fury 3 years ago. The only difference is Ruiz didn't fail drug tests to bail him out from the fight. Oh well February 22nd will be here soon enough scumbag.

Hasn't Fury "checked out" on the two big rematches he was to be involved in?

Putting on 1 stone from overdoing it is a disgrace. Putting on 10 stone is an inspirational story

In Warren’s defence, Tyson wasn’t his fighter when he got fat.

This "ruiz was fat" rhetoric is getting old. He IS FAT and lazy.
                He got lucky. That's all.

What ever .......Ruiz was a disgrace and should have his blood money withdrawn. For such a spotlight fight for the sport to turn up in that state was unforgivable .

Joshua had nothing in front of him to beat apart from a little fat party pig who still managed to go 12!

Frank Warren didn't ask that beforehand... But now he's OK, right?
