Fight Hype are phags. In the interview with DLH Oscar acknowledges a reporter saying Ruiz Jr. took a fight on short notice. Here Plant justifies that his position with Ruiz is different.

Now who really thinks any champion not jus sum ranked fighter with that IDGAF attitude will take on Canelo on short rest. We all know as fans we want the best fighting the best at their peak position not at a disadvantage so that way one of the guys ain't crying after with there blah blah blah excuses forget all that. Canelo needs to fight one of these other champions that ain't scheduled for no fight, as it pertains to any fighter well in my opinion charlo/andrade there gonna be shushed away until they actually fight top contenders for DLH an canelo to even look there way I think. If I was either charlo or andrade I would be fighting whichever top contenders or even champions at 160 or 168 so that way once they clear out all those guys Canelo as the cash cow can't go anywhere else

Thats what pisses me off with most of these guys at 160 or 168 or even guys like bivol who can move down. Plant is being groomed for Charlo at 168, and Haymon also has Benavidez. Benavidez’s is PBC’s 168 commodity. There’s also rumor that Sampson boxing is considering DAZN in the future. It’s Mexican and British market is really appealing other promoters, but particularly for the fan bases. I think Ryan Garcia, JoJo Diaz, Mikey Garcia, Vergil Ortiz, Munguia, Estrada, Canelo... if I was a Mexican fighter I would consider DAZN. It makes business sense.
