He would have lasted around the same time with Pulev and get KOed and forgotten. It eas a good idea for him to duck Klitshchko and fool the pulic for the last 5 years.

I can see why Wilder avoided Klitschko.

They flat out ducked him at the time, said wilder wont be rushed etc (he was 30 years old with 35 or so fights), well documented he got demolished in sparring and dropped hard.

He been protecting that glass chin for a long time. He avoided anyone with skill and power, he only fought Ortiz because Ortiz is slow as a sloth. He admitted Fury was a cherry pick in the press conference before the fight. This skill less clown was hyped because he was American.

I was always ridiculed for pointing out that Wilder's team openly ducked the match. They were quoted as saying as much but for some reason the fanboys wouldn't have it because Wilder is invincible and something about Joshua.
I don't buy too much into sparring but with a "skill set" as unsophisticated as Wilder's and his personality and I'm sure wanting to KO Wlad to prove a point him getting such a beating factored in the ducking. I've heard it for a while that he can't generate power backing up and you know Wlad will just get on top of him and smother him from round one. They knew that.
Wilder has been the biggest con job in modern history. Appealing to a biased fan base that want to have a certain "champion" and creating false narratives and ignoring truths and wanting to believe he's something he's not. They conned people. I know there's dumb fans here but I refuse to believe anyone who's watched boxing actually watched him and said he's a great fighter yet you'd get ridiculed for saying he wasn't as good as Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, Holmes, Liston, Frazier etc; now these people have to live with calling Ortiz a god and one of the greats and Fury being a total bum who can't fight and is a coward. Well, what does that make their idol? How does that make their ability to understand the sport look?
What do they do? I always said they'd jump ship right away. They can't adopt Fury because, well, you know. They can't adopt Joshua. Miller, maybe he's the guy? Or maybe they'll just run with "this era is weak heavyweights suck" when just a week ago it was the best division, most exciting it's been in decades and how Wilder was the best fighter in the world.

As if the only way to beat him is to stay away for a points win, Wlad would have used his jab to put him on the backfoot and knock him out with a jab feint left hook. Wilder knew it, listen to what he said in the build up to Wlad-AJ, he was projecting his own fear of Wlad into his comments.
Like I said, Saturday night was brilliant because now the Wilder rent boys can no longer claim fantasy victories over the threats he didn't fight.
