Nobody cheated Hatton out of ****. They fought plenty on the inside. He just got his ass beat.

Ricky gave a good account of himself considering his limited abilities. Against the very best (May, PAC) he was always going to come up short. These guys have been there done that so won't fall for that kind of tactics. Ricky have a case for himself and himself only in feeling robbed. He trained and planned for a scrap and got nothing. Pointless beating yourself up Ricky, Ultimately the result was always going to be the same. Had Cortez allowed it, Mayweather would have just adapted and beat you down another way. It's what the best fighters do..

Ricky was a warrior, but he wasn't near Floyd's class. Floyd was capable of making just about everybody, including Canelo, look ordinary.

Mayweather was not exactly being beaten up on the inside, he was stronger that Hatton.

I don�t even think hatton best Luis Collazo. He was completely out of his depth against mayweather and pacquiao. Maidana would have probably put hatton in the hospital from a frightful beating while it lasted. What the referee didn�t let hatton do was turn the fight into a mauling wrestling match that had no order. He was outfought on the inside. I�ve watched that fight several times. Hatton simply wasn�t on the level of DLH, Pacquiao, Canelo, Maidana, and I very seriously doubt that hatton would have seen the last bell against Gatti for that matter.

Hatton is delusional when he was in close and throwing punches Cortez let them fight but when Hatton just wanted to grab and wrestle on the inside Cortez would then call for a break which is what he gets paid to do. Hatton got beat by a better guy period end of story.

Cortez gave Hatton absolutely no chance to fight his fight. As a result the fight was a joke.

Hatton was incredibly overrated. He was knocked out or out on his feet in like 5 or 6 fights.

Hatton didn't punch up-close, he held and wrestled. So I'm not sure what he's getting at really. He was an in and out puncher or come-forward grappler, not a come-forward puncher. He couldn't even land body shots without holding first.
